John Blerot
John has been professionally working with audio for over 12 years.
His career started with a Diploma in Music and Recording Arts at
Grant MacEwan College. He acquired a specialty in sound for film
and television with Videotron Communications, CFRN Television, and
such broadcasters as ESPN. He has been recording and preparing soundscapes
for natural history programming, film and television since 1997.
His work has been seen on every major Canadian network and cable
provider as well as at many international film festivals. Natural
history sound recording has taken him to such places as Denali,
Alaska, Bella Coulla, B.C., and The North West Territories to name
a few. John has also chaired seminars and workshops on sound at
the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoulla, Montana.
